Emily Blunt is an excellent American actress who shot to fame for her roles in the movies "My Summer of Love" and "The Devil Wears Prada".

From 1999 - 2001 Emily was in Hurtwood House, the top co-ed boarding school.

She is trained in horseback riding, singing and playing the cello.

After realizing her interest in acting, Emily Blunt started performing on London stage sharpening her acting career.

At the age of eighteen she made her theatrical debut in 2001 with a stage play "The Royal Family" alongside Dame Judi Dench famous for playing the role of James Bond's boss in James Bond series of movies.

She successfully auditioned for the starring role of Isolda in a film called "Boudica" in 2003.

Later she performed different roles in several movies such as "My Summer of Love" [2004], "Irresistible" [2006], "The Devil Wears Prada" [2006] "Sunshine Cleaning" [2008], "Curiosity" [2009] and many other movies.

Emily's breakthrough movie "My Summer of Love" [2004] was screened at many film festivals.

Emily Blunt acted alongside famous Hollywood actresses Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada" [2006] for which she earned the title of Best Female Scene-Stealer from Entertainment Weekly.
